Youth Handbell Choir
Open to all youth in 6th-12th grades. No experience necessary; the ability to read music is helpful, but not required. The Youth Bell Choir plays in worship several times throughout the year. Rehearsals are held on Sunday afternoons from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, during the school year, usually September thru the second week of May. We meet in the Music Annex, upstairs from the Curry Fellowship Hall.
Wind Ensemble
The Wind Ensemble plays in worship several times throughout the year, including special events such as the Christmas Cantata. This group has been primarily a youth ensemble, but is expanding to include all ages, and is open to any instrumentalists with at least 2 years experience. We currently do not have a standing instrumental group, but anyone with instrumental experience is encouraged to contact the music director to be put on the reserve list for instrumental opportunities. Opportunities frequently arise for solo instrumentalists to accompany the choir, or for small ensembles to provide special music in regular worship or for special events; if you are an instrumentalist interested in playing on an "as-needed" basis, and cannot commit to weekly rehearsals,
Youth Praise Band
Each Wednesday night, our youth group shares worship time together, led by the Youth Praise Band. If you are interested in being a part of this ministry, including behind the scenes running lights, sound, or computer, please contact Jack Caldwell, Director of Youth Ministries.
