Prayer
There is nothing we can do which has more potential to impact the lives of others for God as praying for them. There is nothing we can do which has more potential to change the world than praying. This is true because of the way our praying puts us into partnership with God.
We invite you to share concerns with us that we might pray for you. And we also invite you to join with us in the prayer ministries of our church.
OPERATION HOMEFRONT
Our church has many families which have been affected by the recent military deployment. Some of the men and women who are a part this church family now serve in combat areas. Their families are here in our midst. Operation Homefront is a ministry of caring for these soldiers who are deployed and their families here at home. If you are a military family affected by deployment, we invite you to complete the Operation Homefront form and someone in our church family will not only make contact with you but also lift you up in their prayer during this difficult time. If you would like to be a partner who gives care and offers prayers for one of our military families, we would also like to hear from you and invite you share with us in this important ministry. (Form coming soon!)
8:30 PRAYERS
If you would like to join our pastors on Sunday morning to pray for our worship services, you are welcome to join them in the church office at 8:30 am each Sunday morning. If meeting at this time is not possible, please remember them each Sunday in your prayers as they seek to give leadership to the church during our worship times.
E-MAIL PRAYER CHAIN
A ministry we are in the process of developing will bring the technological and the spiritual together. As prayer concerns are shared and requests are made for prayer, you can be one of those who receives an email call to pray about a specific need. If you would like to be a part of this team, please contact the church office at rhumc@coastalnow.net.
MINISTRY PARTNERS
Each week our Senior Pastor sends out via email a word of inspiration, prayer concerns, and a prayer. If you would like to partner with him in a ministry of praying for the shared concern of our church, please contact him at bstrickland@coastalnow.net and request to included in the Ministry Partners list.
MINISTRY OF INTERCESSION
We would like to be counted on by you as one committed to pray in your behalf. If you have prayer concerns and you want to know that someone is praying with you, please let us know by using the form below. (Form coming soon!)
“Father God, bring blessing to all who read these words. May the concerns we carry in our heart find a voice before You. Hear our prayers and give us a peace which comes from knowing we do not stand alone. You are with us. Others are with us. We are grateful. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.”
